It’s the second week of January and Blood Oranges are making an appearance along with Pink Lemons which I had never seen, or tasted before. For me, the best way to welcome the new citrus crop is with a simple to make Blood Orange Bellini. This recipe makes two cocktails.
- Split and juice two blood oranges.
- Optionally split and juice one pink lemon.
- Fill a champagne flute with the 1/3 third with the citrus juice. If using a pink lemon add ½ teaspoon of confectioner’s sugar and stir to combine.
- Top with sparkling wine of your choice.
